India unveil formidable squad for Women’s T20I World Cup 2024

India have unveiled a 15-player squad for the upcoming Women’s T20I World up 2024, with familiar faces being named in the squad. The squad is similar to what participated in the final of Women’s Asia Cup last month.
Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the side with Smriti Mandhana serving as her deputy. India’s squad is brimmed with star power with Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh forming a formidable top-order. Yastika Bhatia and Shreyanka Patil have made the cut but their selection remains subject to fitness. India will begin their campaign by taking on New Zealand on October 4.
