WI vs SA 3rd T20I: West Indies race to series whitewash

Scintillating batting performances from Shai Hope and Nicholas Pooran in the third and final T20I against South Africa helped West Indies secure a 3-0 series victory on Wednesday at Brian Lara Cricket Stadium. West Indies have dominated South Africa throughout the series, delivering commanding performances to complete a clean sweep. They sealed their dominance with a convincing eight-wicket victory (DLS) in the third and final T20I.
In the rain-shortened third game, South Africa, having been put in to bat first, struggled to establish a foothold, with West Indies bowlers restricting the proteas to a modest total of 108 runs in 13 overs. Tristan Stubbs continuing with his rhythm blasted 40 off 15, smoking three sixes and five boundaries.
In response, West Indies showcased their aggressive batting approach, racing to their target with impressive efficiency. West Indies chased down the modest target in just 9.2 overs, with Shai Hope (42*) and Nicholas Pooran (35) giving the team a good start. Shimron Hetmyer, alongside Shai Hope, remained unbeaten on 31 to carry the team to their series victory.
