Shami reveals his favourite bowlers

In the world of cricket, many legends from across the world have set high standards for fast bowling and it is always intriguing to see which bowlers have captured the admiration of current stars. Mohammed Shami, India’s key fast bowler, recently shared his all-time favourite bowlers, and his choices might surprise many. 

Shami, one of the terrific bowlers of the modern era, has been a formidable force in Indian cricket team. Since making his debut almost a decade back, Shami has been an important part of team India's bowling attack. Shami also played an instrumental role in India’s campaign at the ODI World Cup last year. Revealing his favourite bowlers, Shami chose South African icon Dale Steyn and Pakistan legend Waqar Younis as his favourites. 

"There are a lot of them. But if you are asking for names, then I like Waqar Younis and Dale Steyn more," Shami said on Star Sports.

Since the ODI World Cup 2023, Shami has been out of action due to an injury. But, he is expected to make come his comeback for team India soon.
