Rutherford pulls out of CPL
Sherfane Rutherford has withdrawn from the ongoing Caribbean Premier League 2024 due to personal reasons, creating difficulty for the already struggling St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
A release from the league stated that Rutherford has withdrawn from the tournament for personal reasons. Rutherford pulls out of the tournament after making himself in four games, scoring 35 runs. Currently, Patriots are placed at the bottom in the points table with one win out of six games.
No replacement has been named yet for Rutherford. Patriots are already reeling from pressure after their batter Fakhar Zaman returned to Pakistan to play the Champions One-Day Cup, Pakistan’s domestic 50-over tournament.
