Cameron Green ruled out of England ODIs with back injury

Australian allrounder Cameron Green has been ruled out of the remainder of the ongoing ODI series against England due to a back injury, adding to the already growing list of injured players. Green underwent scans after reporting back soreness following Australia’s third ODI match which they lost by 46 runs.
Green was not picked in Australia’s XI for the fourth ODI as scans revealed the back injury. According to Cricket Australia, the full extent of the injury will be known once Green undergoes further assessment upon his return to Australia.
Green’s injury setback serves as a massive blow for Australia ahead of the high-profile Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India in November. The first test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy will begin on November 22 in Perth.
