Bangladesh confirm home Test series against South Africa
Bangladesh will be hosting South Africa for a two-match Test series in October and November as it is set to begin on 21st October with the first game at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the itinerary for South Africa’s tour of Bangladesh. The series is part of the current ICC World Test Championship Cycle.
The second Test match will be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, scheduled to get underway from October 29. Both teams last saw each other when Bangladesh toured South Africa in 2022. That time, South Africa came out triumphant with a 2-0 series win. In Test cricket, South Africa have remained unbeaten against Bangladesh, winning 12 of 14 games. While, two matches were tied.
