Buttler returns to lead as England name squad for white-ball series against West Indies

Jos Buttler will make his return to lead England on their tour of West Indies later this month. Buttler has been on the sidelines following a calf injury, missing the recently concluded limited-overs series against Australia. In Buttler’s absence, Phil Salt and Harry Brook stepped up to captain the T20I and ODI teams respectively. 

Uncapped player Jafer Chohan has been named in the squad. Chohan has played 23 T20s but he is yet to make his ODI debut. England’s tour of West Indies will consist of three ODIs and five T20Is. The series will begin on October 31 with the first ODI at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.

England limited-overs squad: Jos Buttler (c), Jofra Archer, Jacob Bethell, Jafer Chohan, Sam Curran, Will Jacks, Liam Livingstone, Saqib Mahmood, Dan Mousley, Jamie Overton, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Reece Topley, John Turner.
