Australia unveil schedule for Ashes 2025-26

Australia have announced the schedule for the 2025-26 Ashes series next summer in Australia with Perth Stadium set to host the opening game (21-25 Nov) of the Ashes series for the first time in 43 years. The Gabba will be hosting the second Test (4-8 Dec), which will be a day-night contest. 

Adelaide will be hosting the third Test (17-21 Dec), while the Boxing Day Test (fourth match, 26-30 Dec) will be played at the MCG. The fifth and final Test (4-8 Jan) will be played at the SCG in January 2026. Adelaide will host the first daytime Ashes Test since 2013. Over the past few years, Adelaide, which has been the traditional venue for the day-night Tests in the past Ashes encounters, will now host daytime Test. 

First Test - Perth Stadium - Nov 21-25

Second Test- (Day/Night Test) -  Gabba - Dec 4-8

Third Test - (Christmas Test) - Adelaide Oval - Dec 17-21

Fourth Test - (Boxing Day Test) - MCG - Dec 26-30

Fifth Test (New Year's Test) - SCG - Jan 4-8
