New Zealand have created history after securing a 2-0 series victory in their three-match Test series against India by winning the second Test by (113) runs on Saturday in Pune. With this Phenomenal win, New Zealand have successfully registered their first ever Test series win in India.

Defending a challenging target of (359) runs, New Zealand's bowlers rose to the occasion, dismantling India’s batting lineup for just (245) runs. Leading the charge for Black Caps was Mitchell Santner, whose brilliant spell saw him claim six wickets, effectively shattering any hopes India had of chasing down the total. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the lone warrior for India, smashing (77 off 65), but he couldn’t get the required support from others.

Ajaz Patel also made a significant impact for New Zealand, contributing with two key wickets that helped shift the momentum in New Zealand's favour. Earlier, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, New Zealand posted a sizeable total of (259), bolstered by Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra’s (76) and (65) respectively. India, in reply, could score (156). In their second innings, New Zealand had scored (255) on the back of Tom Latham’s 86-run knock. This was India’s first Test series defeat on home soil in twelve years.
