Cooper Connolly out of Pakistan T20Is with fractured hand

Australian young gun Cooper Connolly has been ruled out of the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan after hurting his left hand during the third and final ODI match against Pakistan in Perth on Sunday. During the game, Connolly was forced to retire hurt after being struck on his left hand by a delivery from Pakistan quick Mohammad Hasnain.
Connolly was sent for scans which revealed that he had fractured his hand, putting him out of the T20I series. Wicketkeeper-batter Josh Philippe will replace Connolly in the squad for T20Is. The T20I series starts on Thursday at the Gabba. The second and third T20I will be played on November 16 and 18 respectively.
