South Africa name squads for England white-ball series

South Africa have named their squads for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against England Women. Veteran players Marizanne Kapp and Ayabon Khaka have been rested from T20Is, while Eliz-Mari Marx and Nondumiso Shangase come into the squad alongside Faye Tunnicliffe, who has made her return to the side after three years. Kapp and Khaka will, however, return for ODIs.
South Africa’s T20I squad will also miss the services of Mieke de Ridder and Seshnie Naidu, who both recently featured at the T20I World Cup 2024. Faye Tunnicliffe has replaced Mieke de Ridder, whereas Naidu is completing her exams and will also be preparing for the U19 T20 World Cup in Malaysia.
Firstly, both sides will play a three-match T20I series, beginning on November 24 with the first game at Buffalo Park, East London. The second and third T20Is will be held on November 27 and 30 respectively. The three-match ODI series will begin on December 4 with the first match at Diamond Oval, Kimberley. The second and third ODIs will be played on December 8 and 11 respectively.
