Munaf Patel named DC’s bowling coach

Former Indian fast bowler Munaf Patel has been appointed new bowling coach of Delhi Capitals ahead of the IPL 2025. Munaf Patel, who is a ODI World Cup winner, joins the DC camp at a crucial time. Patel will join Venugopal Rao ( director of cricket) and Hemang Badani (DC’s head coach) in DC’ backroom staff. 

Taking over the role at DC, Munaf Patel will be replacing James Hopes. Recently, DC also parted ways with head coach Ricky Ponting

Apart from demonstrating his brilliance in international cricket, Munaf has had IPL experience as well, representing Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Lions. He also won the IPL 2013 with Mumbai.
