Indian batting star Virat Kohli has revealed his favourite knock in Australia ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, set to begin on November 22 in Perth. Kohli’s record in Australia has been remarkably outstanding, having played a few high-class knocks in the past. Picking up his favourite knock in Australia, Kohli said that century in Perth during the 2018-19 Border-Gavaskar Trophy was the best knock he’s ever played in Australia.

As the team gears up for the crucial series, Kohli’s performance will be very pivotal in determining India’s success in BGT. In the past, he has given hard times to Australian bowlers and this time too he will be hoping to demonstrate the same elegance in his batting.

"My best knock in Australia is definitely my 100 at Perth in the 2018/19 series that we played. I thought that was the toughest pitch I played on. It was great to get a 100 on that wicket," Kohli said in a video shared by the BCCI.

However, over the last few months, Kohli has been out of sorts as he has been unsuccessful in providing India much-needed boost with the bat, repeatedly failing to get back to his best. Furthermore, Kohli has struggled hard in the longest format, which remains the biggest worry for India heading into the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Recently, Virat Kohli was seen struggling to find his form during the home Test assignments against Bangladesh and New Zealand, where he only managed to amass 192 runs.
