WPL Mini Auction 2025 to be held on December 15
The Women's Premier League (WPL) is gearing up for an exciting auction for the 2025 season, scheduled to be held on December 15 in Bengaluru, according to ESPNcricinfo. With each of the five franchises having a budget of INR 15 crore, the upcoming auction is going to be a high-stakes event that will shape the rosters for the upcoming season. In the auction, all franchises will aim to fine-tune their squads with key signings, ensuring they are well-equipped to compete in the competitive tournament. Last year, each franchises had INR 13.5 crore. Gujarat Giants will have a purse of INR 4.4 crore. Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals, who were the runner-up last year, will have the smallest purse of INR 2.5 crore.
