Their bowlers proved lethal in the crucial stages of the game. Bangladesh’s all-round show helped them clinch a comfortable victory.

For Ireland Women, the first ODI was a tough learning experience. They failed drastically in the first game, failing to find momentum at any stage of the game. Ireland Women will need to bounce back strongly in the second ODI if they are to keep their hopes of levelling the series alive.
