Siraj, Head penalised following their verbal tussle

Mohammed Siraj and Travis Head, who both were involved in a heated altercation during the second Test match between India and Australia in Adelaide, have been found guilty of breaching the ICC Code of Conduct. Siraj was fined 20% of his match fees, whereas Travis Head was reprimanded. 

As per ICC, Siraj was found to have breached article 2.5 of the code, "which relates to "using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon dismissal".

In addition, one demerit point was added to Siraj and Head's disciplinary records. Head was found to have breached article 2.13 of the code, "which relates to the "abuse of a player, player support personnel, umpire or match referee".

The verbal tussle between both players broke out during the 82nd over of the game when Siraj clean bowled Travis Head, who was playing on 140. Both players were involved in a heated exchange of words following Head's dismissal.
