WI vs BAN 3rd T20I: Jaker Ali stars as Bangladesh complete series sweep

In a massive win, Bangladesh thrashed West Indies by 80 runs in the third and final T20I of the series to clinch a dominant 3-0 series sweep. Bangladesh were incredibly dominant from the very start as they posted an impressive total of 189/7 in their 20 overs, led by a remarkable unbeaten knock from Jaker Ali. West Indies, in response, were bundled out for just 109 in 16.4 overs, suffering a heavy defeat and handing Bangladesh an emphatic series victory.
Deciding to bat, Bangladesh got off to a steady start, with their openers Litton Das and Parvez Hossain playing carefully. However, it was Jaker Ali’s resilient innings that stole the show. Ali played an outstanding knock of 72* off 41 balls, guiding Bangladesh to a competitive total. His innings was filled with three boundaries and six sixes, as he anchored the innings amidst wickets falling at regular intervals.
In reply, West Indies faced an uphill battle from the outset as they lost key batters early in the innings. The pitch also offered enough assistance for Bangladesh’s bowlers, who exploited the conditions to perfection. West Indies batters struggled to break free against Bangladesh’s disciplined bowling attack. Bangladesh’s bowling attack, led by Taskin Ahmed, Mahedi Hasan and Rishad Hossain wreaked havoc.
