SA vs PAK: South Africa suffer another setback as Ottneil Baartman ruled out of third ODI

South Africa have suffered yet another setback in their ongoing series against Pakistan, as pacer Ottneil Baartman has been ruled out of the third and final ODI due to a knee issue.
Baartman’s injury adds to the growing list of challenges faced by the proteas, as they find themselves on the back foot in the series, with Pakistan leading 2-0. Corbin Bosch, who has been added to the Test squad, will replace, Baartman in the third ODI. He had experienced discomfort in his run-up ahead of the second ODI and didn't find any place in the playing XI but he had played the first game.
The proteas have already had a tough time against Pakistan, who have dominated the first two matches of the series. With the series already out of their reach, South Africa’s focus is now on salvaging some pride in the final match.
