England pacer Saqib Mahmood faces visa delay ahead of India T20Is

England fast-bowler Saqib Mahmood has missed an England training camp ahead of the five-match T20I series against India due to a delay in acquiring visa. England are set to lock horns with India in five T20Is, starting on January 22 with the first game at Eden Gardens.
The fast-bowler has yet to secure approval from Indian authorities. As per a Daily Mail report, Saqib Mahmood hasn’t been granted the visa yet. He was scheduled to leave for UAE to join fellow quicks Jofra Archer, Gus Atkinson, Mark Wood and Brydon Carse at a camp led by legendary James Anderson.
The report has further mentioned that England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) cancelled the flight ticket of Saqib Mahmood after he failed to obtain visa. It only remains to be seen whether he will participate in the series or not. However, there has been no official statement from ECB.
