Kohli, Rahul to miss upcoming Ranji Trophy round
Indian star players Virat Kohli and KL Rahul have informed BCCI that they will not be available for the next round of Ranji Trophy due to minor injuries they are managing. According to ESPNcricinfo, both players informed the board that they are carrying niggles which wouldn’t allow them to play the next round of Ranji Trophy matches beginning January 23.
As per reports, Kohli had niggle and had taken an injection on January 8, three days after the Border-Gavaskar Trophy concluded in Sydney. KL Rahul, on the other hand, has an elbow issue that is likely to rule him out of Karnataka’s match against Punjab.
Meanwhile, there will be big names like Rishabh Pant (Delhi), Shubman Gill (Punjab) and Ravindra Jadeja (Saurashtra), who will be participating in the next round of Ranji Trophy.
