Indian legend MS Dhoni is once again ready to light up the Indian Premier League as he prepares for another season with the Chennai Super Kings. CSK are set to face off against Mumbai Indians in their opening match of the tournament on Sunday at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

As the new season begins, one thing remains ever-present - the looming question of Dhoni’s retirement. Despite his age, Dhoni continues to defy time, delivering impressive performances season after season. Now, ahead of CSK's season-opening game against MI, Dhoni has emphasised that he could play for CSK "as long as I want”.

"I can play for as long as I want for CSK. That's my franchise. Even if I'm in a wheelchair, they'll drag me," he said in a chat on JioHotstar.

MS Dhoni retired from international cricket in 2020. But, he continues to be a prominent figure in the Indian Premier League.
