IPL 2025: CSK aim for turnaround against wounded RR

The stage is set for a high-octane encounter between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings in the 11th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League, scheduled to be played on Sunday at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati. Rajasthan are low on confidence, having endured a horrible start with back-to-back defeats. While, Chennai Super Kings also find themselves in a bit of a slump, having suffered a setback in their previous outing against Royal Challengers Bangalore at their fortress, Chepauk. Both sides are in dire need of a comeback, making this game a must-win clash for both teams.

Rajasthan Royals head into this match with spirits running low, having recently copped two towering defeats that have given them a massive jolt both in confidence and morale. RR, who are yet to win a match, would hope for their skipper Riyan Parag to find his form and help the side.

On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings come into this match with a bruised ego after a defeat at the hands of Royal Challengers Bangalore at their home ground, Chepauk. Despite their long-standing reputation as one of the most successful franchises in IPL history, CSK have shown signs of struggle early in the 2025 season. CSK will need to quickly regroup, adapt, and look for a resurgence if they are to go all the way.
