IPL 2025: GT set to host boisterous RR

Gujarat Titans will be locking horns with Rajasthan Royals in the 23rd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League on Wednesday at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Both teams have been in strong form, with each securing a victory in their most recent games, and now they are set to battle it out for crucial points in their upcoming clash. As both sides aim for a top position, they will be looking to address their shortcomings before heading into this crucial match.

For Gujarat Titans, their middle order has been a key talking point. While their top-order batters, Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler have done the bulk of scoring for the side. Their batting depth has been an asset. However, the consistency in the middle overs has not been seen.

Despite all this, Titans’ most recent win against Sunrisers Hyderabad saw solid contributions from both the top and middle order. Nonetheless, Titans will be looking for their middle order to not only maintain a steady pace but to accelerate when needed.

Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, have made a massive comeback, recording an enormous 50-run victory against high-flying Punjab Kings in their last game. After failing in the first few games, RR have returned strongly, with Yashasvi Jaiswal, hitting his form at the right time. And their middle-order batters, Ryan Parag, Nitish Rana and Shemron Hetmyer have done outstandingly well in recent times. Now, with both Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans coming off victories, this upcoming clash will be significant for them to maintain the momentum.
