News

Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru are gearing up for their upcoming clash in the ongoing IPL, scheduled to be held on Sunday at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Both teams are aiming to bounce back from recent setbacks. Coming off defeats in their previous matches, RR and RCB will be determined to return to winning ways and keep their hopes of a successful season alive. RR suffered a heartbreaking loss to Gujarat Titans (GT), while RCB were battered by Delhi Capitals (DC) in their last games.

RR have faced a bit of a rough patch as they enter this fixture. Despite their bowlers delivering nice performances of late, they have struggled with consistency across all departments, particularly with the bat. In their most recent match, they were unable to chase a total of 217, being bowled out for 159 in 19.2 overs.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru, on the other hand, are coming off a tough defeat in their last match, which has left them with much to reflect upon. Their performance was a flop show, with their batting and bowling failing miserably.

Meanwhile, their batting unit, led by the ever-reliable Virat Kohli and Phil Salt, will be looking to put in a much more consistent and clinical performance this time. And the team will now aim to recover from their recent loss and start afresh.

Rajasthan Royals probable XII: Sanju Samson (c&wk), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Nitish Rana, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shimron Hetmyer, Wanindu Hasaranga, Jofra Archer, Maheesh Theekshana, Tushar Deshpande, Sandeep Sharma, Fazalhaq Farooqi

Royal Challengers Bengaluru probable XII: Phil Salt, Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar (c), Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Tim David, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood, Yash Dayal, Suyash Sharma
