Lockie Ferguson likely to be out of IPL 2025

In a crushing blow to Punjab Kings, New Zealand all-rounder Lockie Ferguson has been ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to a significant injury. Ferguson walked off the field during Punjab’s match against Hyderabad as he looked in shattering pain. PBKS's bowling coach confirmed that Ferguson is unlikely to play the remainder of the IPL, expressing disappointment over the injury.
"Ferguson is out indefinitely, and us getting him back by the end of the tournament is a very low percentage. I think he's done a real decent injury to himself," he said.
Ferguson had bowled just two balls against Hyderabad before hobbling off the field. Meanwhile, PBKS are gearing up to face Kolkata Knight Riders on Tuesday in Chandigarh.
