In a nail-biting battle, Delhi Capitals secured a dramatic Super Over victory over Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday at Arun Jaitley Stadium, with a standout performance from Mitchell Starc. The match, which saw both teams finish with identical totals of 188 runs, was decided in a tense Super Over, with Starc’s heroics playing a pivotal role in pushing the game into extra time and eventually sealing the win for Delhi Capitals. In the Super Over, DC limited RR to 11-2, and later KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs took DC over the line with two balls to spare.

"I felt that that score was definitely chaseable. The batting line-up which we had, the start which we had in the powerplay, I felt it was definitely chaseable score. But I think, as we all saw, some fantastic bowling by Starcy in the last over of the innings. I think that's quality from the international. One of the best guys around in the world. So I think I would like to give it to Starcy. I think he won the game for them in the 20th over," Samson said after the match.

Delhi Capitals are now sitting comfortably at the top of the table with 10 points, while Rajasthan are placed eighth in the standing with four points. Delhi’s next encounter is against Gujarat Titans on Saturday in Ahmedabad.
