Gujarat Titans continued their red-hot form in the Indian Premier League on Tuesday, defeating Mumbai Indians by three wickets via (DLS) in a rain-affected match in Mumbai.

Chasing a modest target of 156, GT faced an early setback as opener Sai Sudharsan fell cheaply. However, a composed partnership between Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler steadied the innings. Buttler looked fluent during his brief stay, contributing 30 runs before being dismissed, while Gill remained the pillar of the chase with a well-constructed 43. However, the chase took a dramatic turn when rain interrupted play twice, forcing the revision of the target. The revised target was 147, and the match came down to the final over with GT needing 15 runs. GT, meanwhile, chased the total in time, finishing at 147/7 in 19 overs.

Earlier, MI, after being asked to bat first, found themselves in trouble early on. Their top order failed to click, with wickets falling at regular intervals. Despite the shaky start, Will Jacks offered resistance with a solid 53, while Suryakumar Yadav chipped in with a valuable 35 to push MI to a modest 155/8 in 20 overs.
