Mayank Yadav ruled out of IPL 2025, LSG bring in Will O'Rourke as replacement

Lucknow Super Giants’ hopes of a successful Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season have been dealt a significant blow with the news that fast bowler Mayank Yadav has been ruled out due to a back injury. They have brought in New Zealand fast bowler Will O’Rourke as a replacement for Mayank at INR 3 crore.
Mayank played only two matches in the IPL 2025, against Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings. Yadav, who has struggled with injury setbacks, was retained by Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the mega auction for INR 11 crore.
He returned to LSG on April 16 after a lengthy rehabilitation at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence, but another back injury has put an end to his campaign at the IPL 2025.
