Abhsiehk Sharma opens up on his verbal spat with Digvesh Rathi

Sunrisers Hyderabad batter Abhishek Sharma has opened up on his verbal spat with Lucknow Super Giants’ bowler Digvesh Rathi. The tension began when Digvesh Rathi celebrated Abhishek’s dismissal in his signature notebook celebration, which didn’t go well with Sharma, who was left agitated and traded barbs with Rathi. Both had to be calmed down by the on-field umpires after tensions flared up.
“Yeah, obviously we spoke after the game, and it is all good now,” Abhishek said after the game.
Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma played a blazing knock, cracking a 20-ball 59 , to help SRH chase the target (206) with six wickets and ten balls to spare. While the victory meant little in terms of SRH’s standing, it had massive ramifications for LSG, who needed a win to stay in the hunt for the playoffs. The result knocked them out of contention for the playoffs.
