Nitish Kumar Reddy likely to be ruled out of England tour: Reports

India’s promising all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has reportedly been ruled out of the remainder of India’s Test tour of England following a knee injury picked up during a gym session on Sunday. Reddy reported discomfort in his knee and later underwent scans that revealed serious ligament damage. Reddy’s injury has occurred just days before India’s crucial 4th Test at Old Trafford, scheduled to begin on July 23, 2025.
Now, with limited recovery time, as per reports, Reddy is expected to miss not just the Manchester Test but the remainder of the five-match series. Reddy, who didn’t play the opening Test in Leeds, played the second and third Tests. Currently, England are leading the series 2-1 after claiming victories in the first and third games.
The fourth match is a very important game for India to bounce back in the series and level it 2-2. Meanwhile, India are already battling several fitness issues, with pacers Arshdeep Singh and Akash Deep remaining doubtful for the Manchester Test due to their respective injuries.
