Australia and West Indies are set to clash in the third T20I of their five-match series on Saturday at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts, with Australia holding a 2-0 lead. Having secured back-to-back victories in the opening two encounters, Australia will be aiming to wrap up the series with a third straight win. For West Indies, however, this match is a do or die if they hope to keep themselves alive in the series.

Australia have looked fearless so far, showcasing balance in both batting and bowling departments. Josh Inglis, Cameron Green, Mitchell Marsh, and Glenn Maxwell have led Australia’s batting attack, while Nathan Ellis, Adam Zampa and Mitchell Owen have been outstanding in the bowling department. In the first T20I, Australia clinched a three-wicket win, chasing a 190-run target, with Cameron Green and Mitchell Owen scoring half-centuries.

And in the second game, Australia claimed an eight-wicket win with Josh Inglis and Cameron Green firing 78* and 56*, respectively. West Indies, on the other hand, have been unable to maintain consistency, thus losing the first two games.

Heading into the third T20I, West Indies will look to challenge Australia to remain alive in the series. Moreover, they have the talent and firepower to challenge Australia. For Australia, a third win in a row would seal the series and provide an unassailable lead.
