South Africa reveal full-strength squads for Australia tour

South Africa have named powerful squads for their upcoming T20I and ODI assignments against Australia next month. The Proteas’ T20I squad will be led by Aiden Markram while the ODI side will be led by senior player Temba Bavuma. Both the T20I and ODI squads feature big guns like Corbin Bosch, Ryan Rickelton, Kagiso Rabada and Tristan Stubbs.
Keshav Maharaj has only been included in the ODI squad. Prenelan Subrayen, who has been included in both squads, has earned his maiden call-up. He made his Test debut against Zimbabwe earlier this year. The tour will serve as a major boost for South Africa in their preparation for the upcoming T20I and ODI World Cups in 2026 and 2027, respectively.
The tour will kick off with a three-match T20I series starting on August 10. The second and third T20Is will be played on August 12 and 16, respectively. Later, the focus will shift to the three-match ODI series starting on August 19. The second and third ODIs will be held on August 22 and 24, respectively.
