Jonathan Trott named Gulf Giants' head coach at ILT20

ILT20 franchise Gulf Giants have named former England cricketer Jonathan Trott as head coach and former New Zealand pacer Shane Bond as bowling coach ahead of the upcoming season of ILT20. Jonathan Trott and Shane Bond will take over from Andy Flower and Ottis Gibson, respectively.
Trott, who is the incumbent head coach of Afghanistan, was also the head coach of Pretoria Capitals at the SA20 before recently being replaced by Indian stalwart Sourav Ganguly. Gulf Giants have also brought in Andrew Puttick as batting coach, Jim Troughton as fielding coach and Nick Lee as their fitness coach.
"The Gulf Giants have quickly become one of the ILT20's most successful teams. My goal is to empower players to excel and help shape a championship-winning squad through the first-ever ILT20 auction," Trott said.
Shane Bond, expressing excitement about joining the setup, said, "The team's ambition is clear. I'm excited to sharpen our bowling attack and make a decisive impact this season."
Meanwhile, the fourth season of the ILT20 is expected to begin in December later this year.
