South Africa announce squad for Women's Cricket World Cup 2025

South Africa have named their squad for the upcoming Women's Cricket World Cup, with Laura Wolvaardt set to lead the side. The tournament, which will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka, will begin on September 30, and the Proteas will start their campaign on October 3 by taking on England in the 4th match of the showpiece event at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati.

South Africa's 15-member squad also includes highly experienced stars such as Sune Luus, Marizanne Kapp, Nonkululeko Mlaba, Chloe Tryon, Tazmin Brits, and Ayabonga Khaka.

South Africa squad: Laura Wolvaardt (c), Ayabonga Khaka, Chloe Tryon, Nadine de Klerk, Marizanne Kapp, Tazmin Brits, Sinalo Jafta, Nonkululeko Mlaba, Annerie Dercksen, Anneke Bosch, Masabata Klaas, Sune Luus, Karabo Meso, Tumi Sekhukhune, Nondumiso Shangase.
