South Africa's five-match T20I series against West Indies reduced to three games

South Africa’s only men’s home international series (against West Indies) this summer has been scaled back from five T20 Internationals to three, following a scheduling conflict with the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The Proteas were originally slated to face the West Indies in a five-match T20I series between January 27 and February 6, 2026 but the World Cup schedule has forced Cricket South Africa (CSA) to revise the itinerary.
Now, following the revised schedule, the series will be played from 27 to 31 January 2026. The three-match series will be played at Boland Park in Paarl, SuperSport Park in Centurion and the Wanderers in Johannesburg on January 27, 29 and 31, respectively.
The final T20I will serve as the season's Pink Day fixture, an event that raises funds and awareness for breast cancer.
