Born in George, Colin Ackerman is a doughty all-rounder from South Africa. Educated from Grey High School, Colin was a schoolboy prodigy. His talent was spotted early by his coaches and he made rapid strides to emerge as one of the talented batsmen in the country. He shot to limelight by topping the batting charts in the CSA Under-19 three-day competition in 2009.
