Players from both sides were eagerly waiting for the rain to have some mercy but it didn’t budge which forced the umpires to call off the third T20I between India and Ireland on Wednesday at The Village in Dublin. Fans were braving the rain to witness the action but all went in vain due to rainfall. With the third match being abandoned, India won the three-match series 2-0 as they had registered victory in the first and second match.

India had won the first match by 2 runs (DLS) while they had registered a 33-run victory in the second match. Jasprit Bumrah led team India against Ireland in his first outing after making his recovery from injury. On this tour, India had given chance to youngsters like Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma. It was a great outing for Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna who both are leading bowlers for India in the run up to the Asia Cup 2023 and ODI World Cup 2023.
