'It feels really good': Babar Azam on Virat Kohli's remarks ahead of Asia Cup game

The moment for the high-profile clash is nearing really fast as India and Pakistan are scheduled to come against each other in the third match of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023. There is huge excitement building up among fans from both sides as both teams ramp up their preparations to take on each other. The reason behind having so much excitement for India vs Pakistan match is that both teams face each other in the world and continental events only. Now, India and Pakistan will take on each other on Saturday at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. Ahead of the clash, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam touched upon Virat Kohli’s praising remarks for him. 

“it feels really good, when somebody passes comments like this about you. The way Virat Kohli has given comments, for me it is a very proud moment. I felt really good. When you receive praises like this, you get confidence. He said that in 2019 (World Cup) I went to him. He was at his peak then, he is at his peak now too. I thought I should take some lessons from him. I got to learn a lot from him then. He explained a lot of things. It helped me a lot. These things help,” Babar Azam said in a video on Star Sports.
