Asia Cup 2023: Bangladesh and Afghanistan to square off against each other

In the fourth match of the ongoing Asia Cup 2023, Bangladesh will be locking horns against Afghanistan on Sunday at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. So far, Afghanistan haven’t played any match in the tournament as they will look forward to a greater start in the tournament. However, Afghanistan recently played ODI series against Pakistan where they were handed 3-0 defeat. Heading into this match, Afghanistan would love to have a fresh start.
Bangladesh on the other hand, have had one outing but that was a bitter one for them as they lost their opening match against Sri Lanka by (5) wickets. Bangladesh, meanwhile, would love to get back to winning ways to solidify their position in the points table. In the last match, Bangladesh’s batting order was not upto the standards with Mohammad Naim, Tanzid Hasan and Shakib Al Hasan failing to score. Najmul Hossain Shanto was quite good with the bat as he scored (89) runs. In this match, Bangladesh would like to get match-winning performances from their players after having failed in the last match. It will be a great game as both teams would eye victory.
