Asia Cup Super 4s matches likely to be shifted out of Colombo

There are likely chances that five matches of the six Super 4s matches in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 are likely to be shifted out of the Colombo due to persistent rainfall in the city. There has been heavy rainfall in the city which will become a big hindrance in the smooth conduct of the proceedings. The first super 4s match will be held in Lahore at Gaddafi Stadium. However, as per reports, Asian Cricket Council (ACC) took the issue into consideration following the incessant rainfall in Colombo. As per reports, Hambantota has been shortlisted as second venue for the super four matches. With this development, all five Super Four stage matches will be played at Hambantota. The final of the Asia Cup 2023 is all scheduled to be played on September 17 in Colombo.
