Australia’s premier pacer Josh Hazlewood is aware of the challenge against well-balanced India who Australia are scheduled to meet in the ODI World Cup final on Sunday at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Both India and Australia secured their berths in the final of the World Cup after prevailing over New Zealand and South Africa respectively. It’s going to be a hugely challenging for Australia to face the host India after their encounter during the group stage game resulted in their defeat. However, Australia have made a smashing comeback after their two early defeats in the tournament. Meanwhile, Josh Hazlewood feels that India are quite balanced side as they’ve not shown any weaknesses.

“I think they’re all across the board really. They’ve got good quicks, good spin spinners, good batters so they’re ticking every box. I guess we saw a few cracks when we played them in Chennai chasing a small target, we were lucky enough to get a couple early. But there’s no real weaknesses, as we’ve seen,” said Hazlewood as quoted by cricket.com.au.

When India and Australia had played against each other during the group stage, Australia had been bowled out for (199) by the host as none of the batters from Australia could fathom the bowling attack that India carried out. In reply, India too lost early wickets but KL Rahul and Virat Kohli’s heroic innings took India over the line. The final clash is going to be incredibly befitting as both teams have maintained an ample amount of consistency in their performance.
