England name unchanged XI for 2nd New Zealand Test

England have named an unchanged XI for the second Test match of the three-match series against New Zealand, with Jacob Bethell retaining his place in the playing XI. Meanwhile, Ollie Pope will continue to keep the gloves as the stand-in wicketkeeper. England are leading the three-match series 1-0 after thumping New Zealand by eight wickets in the first game.
England had to make late adjustments in their XI ahead of the first Test, bringing in Jacob Bethell in place of injured Jordan Cox. Bethell had played a boisterous innings in the first Test, smacking 50* off (37) in second innings. Ollie Pope scored (77) as well, batting at no.6. Moreover, the star of the show was Harry Brook, who scored (171) in the first innings to guide England to a formidable total. The second match will start on December 6 at Basin Reserve, Wellington.
