WBBL 2023 final: Adelaide Strikers Women meet Brisbane Heat Women
Adelaide Strikers Women will face Brisbane Heat Women in the final of the ongoing women’s Big Bash League on Saturday at Adelaide Oval. Finally, the day has come when it will be decided as to which team will lift the Women’s Big Bash League 2023 title. Brisbane Heat Women thrashed Perth Scorchers Women in the challenger to march into the final of the tournament. Brisbane Heat Women have been in a strong form as they had beaten Sydney Thunder Women in the eliminator to move to the challeneger, now they have made it to the final to face Adelaide Strikers. Adelaide Strikers Women, on the other hand, had beaten Hobart Hurricanes Women in the 55th match of the tournament to get to the final. Adelaide Strikers Women had led a great campaign throughout the league stage matches as they kept themselves on top of the points table. Both teams will hope for the best day forward to emerge victorious in the intense clash. Brisbane Heat Women will bank on Grace Harris, Laura Harris and Amelia Kerr for runs. Adelaide Strikers Women, on the other hand, will expect Laura Wolvaardt, Tahlia McGrath and Katie Mack to help the team with runs.
