Indian women’s cricket team on Saturday scripted history by beating England women in the One-Off Test match by 347 runs. India registered the biggest victory in the history of Women’s Test cricket. This was also Indian women’s maiden Test victory against England women at home. Defending the total of 479, Indian women bowled out England women for 131 with Deepti Sharma and Pooja Vastrakar returning with four and three wickets respectively. Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Renuka Singh took two and one wicket each respectively. Deepti Sharma registered the best figures for herself by taking 9 wickets across both innings to fetch the team a fabulous win. Earlier, Indian women had scored 428 in their first innings as they bowled out England women for 136 in their first innings. India in their second innings declared on 186, thus setting the target of 479 for England women.
