AUS-W vs IND-W 2nd T20I: Australia remain alive in the series, beat India by 6 wickets

In a nail-biting encounter between India Women and Australia Women in the 2nd T20I at Dy Patil Sports Academy on Sunday, Australia Women emerged victorious against their Indian counterparts by beating them by 6 wickets to level the three-match series at 1-1. The Sunday's clash saw both teams locked in an intense battle, showcasing the competitive spirit of both teams. However, Australia Women led the upper hand. 

Asked to bat, India put out a total of 130 in 20 overs after losing eight wickets. In 2nd game, India witnessed a rather low batting outings from their top players after Shafali Verma (1), Jemimah Rodrigues (13) and Harmanpreet Kaur (6) lost their wickets without giving the team a much required batting support. Meanwhile, Richa Ghosh and Deepti Sharma stitched a little partnership with their scores of 23 and 30 respectively to help the side get to a fighting total. 

Chasing the target, Australia got the collective support from their batters after getting off to a good start with Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney scoring 26 and 20 respectively. Down the order, Ellyse Perry and Phoebe Litchfield remained unbeaten on (34) and (18) runs respectively to take the team to victory. With this win, Australia have managed to level the series 1-1.
