Captain Wanindu Hasaranga shone with the ball as Sri Lanka emerged victorious against Zimbabwe in the third T20I, securing a resounding 9-wicket win to end the series with 2-1 win. The match showcased a splendid performance by the Sri Lankan team, both with the ball and the bat, as they outclassed Zimbabwe in every department.

The shining factor for Sri Lanka remained their exceptional bowling display that saw them restrict Zimbabwe to a mere 82 runs in 14.1 overs. Sri Lanka's bowling attack in the form of Waning Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana and Angelo Mathews remained solid to cripple Zimbabwe very badly.

Zimbabwe struggled to establish partnerships, with Sri Lankan bowlers chipping in at crucial intervals. Chasing 83 to win, Sri Lanka’s opening batters Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis set the tone for the innings, displaying a composed approach with their scores of (39*) and (33) respectively. Kusal Mendis, however, lost his wicket just few runs short of victory, but Dhananjaya de Silva scored 15 alongside Nissanka to lead the team over the line.
