IND vs ENG 2nd Test: Anderson, Shoaib Bashir included as England name playing XI
England have named their playing XI for the second Test match against India a day prior to its start on Friday in Visakhapatnam. England have included James Anderson and Shoaib Bashir into their playing XI.
Shoaib Bashir comes in place of veteran spinner Jack Leach who was ruled out of the second Test following a knee injury. James Anderson, on the other hand, has replaced pacer Mark Wood for the second Test.
Shoaib Bashir missed the first Test due to visa issues as he is now set to make his Test debut. England are already leading the five-match series 1-0 with their uplifting win in the first game. England’s Tom Hartley and Ollie Pope delivered match-winning performances for the team in the first game. Hartley claimed seven wickets, while Pope churned out 196-run knock to drive England to their victory.
