PSL 2024: Lahore Qalandars search for victory as they take on Multan Sultan
After having suffered their two consecutive defeats since the start of the Pakistan Super League Tournament, Lahore Qalandars are hoping to turn the tables to secure their much needed victory to open their victory account in the tournament, as they gear up to face Multan Sultan in the seventh match of the tournament.
Qalandars have failed to overcome their opponents in the last two encounters that they have played. Lahore Qalandars have played against Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators, but they have faced disappointment in both the matches. Qalandars lost by 8 wickets against Islamabad United, while they faced five-wicket defeat against Quetta Gladiators.
Multan Sultan, on the other hand, are coming off two successive victories from their last two matches. They have played against Karachi Kings and Islamabad United, overcoming both teams to keep their campaign on track. It has been absolutely brilliant from Multan Sultan to have had two emphatic victories.
Lahore Qalandars are on the fourth position in the points table with no victory, no points and the negative NRR of -0.797. Multan Sultan, on the other side, are topping the points table with four points and the positive NRR of +1.435. Heading into this game, Lahore Qalanadrs will have a huge task of coming out with their victory, while Multan Sultan would hope to continue with their victory momentum.
