The 14th match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League will see winless Lahore Qalandars square off against table toppers Multan Sultans on Tuesday at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Defending champions Lahore Qalandars have been going through a terribly grim situation, having recorded their five defeats on the bounce.

Uncharacteristically, Lahore Qalandars have faltered to open their winning account in the tournament, despite putting up grandiose performances. Putting more pressure on Qalandars, their fast bowler Haris Rauf has been ruled out of the tournament due to shoulder dislocation. Heading into this match, Lahore Qalandars would aim to end their losing streak to at least have a victory in the new edition of the tournament.

As of now, Lahore Qalandars are struggling at the bottom in the points table with no victory from their past five games. They have zero points along with the negative NRR of -0.533.

Multan Sultans, on the other hand, are leading the points table with four victories from their five games, having started their campaign on a high note. They are carrying eight points along with the positive NRR of +0.781. Multan Sultans will enter this game on the back of their victory against Quetta Gladiators in their last game.

Head-to-head

Both teams have played 19 games against each other, wherein they carry equal number of victories after having won nine matches each.

Lahore Qalandars Probable XI: Sahibzada Farhan, Fakhar Zaman, Rassie van der Dussen, Shai Hope (wk), Sikandar Raza, Ahsan Bhatti, Jahandad Khan, Carlos Brathwaite, Shaheen Afridi (c), Mohammad Imran, Zaman Khan

Multan Sultans Probable XI: Mohammad Rizwan (c & wk), Usman Khan, Reeza Hendricks, Tayyab Tahir, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, David Willey, Usama Mir, Aftab Ibrahim, Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Ali
