BAN vs SL 2nd T20I: Bangladesh look to stage comeback against sanguine Sri Lanka

Another thrilling clash is on the way as Sri Lanka and Bangladesh gear up to take on each other in the second T20I match on Wednesday at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. Sri Lanka currently are leading the three-match series 1-0 after clinching a victory in the first game. 

In the first T20I, Sri Lanka delivered a convincing performance, securing a comprehensive win over Bangladesh. They came out with a disciplined bowling and batting attack, outclassing Bangladesh across all departments of the game. 

Kusal Mendis, Sadeera Samarawickrama and Charith Asalanka shone in the batting order with their scores of (59), (61) and (64) respectively. While, Angelo Mathews, Dasun Shanaka and Binura Fernando took two wickets each, restricting Bangladesh from getting over the line. 

Bangladesh, on the other hand, will be determined to stage a comeback and level the series in the upcoming match. Bangladesh, in their backyard, will be determined to bounce back strongly to remain alive in the series. With the star players like Litton Das, Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mahmudullah, Bangladesh boast great experience to put up a challenging fight against Sri Lanka's dominance.

Sri Lanka, meanwhile, will be keen on maintaining their winning momentum and clinching the series with a victory in the upcoming match. However, there’s a huge challenge lying ahead as Bangladesh will be out with all guns blazing.
